Primarily, we are a furniture removal company, but during the past ten years we also started focusing on shopfitting transport and other marketing merchandise.
We transport goods nationally as well as cross-border with a centralized operational/scheduling office in Cape Town.
We also store goods if needed with our own infrastructure in Cape Town and Centurion, Gauteng.

J H Retief Logistics has been actively involved in transportation of goods for the past 62 years. For the past ten years we transported shopfitting material nationally as well as cross-border.
J H Retief Logistics went through an important learning curve with management of big shopfitting clients to streamline the operation of collecting, transporting and delivery of goods in a more cost effective and orderly way.
To transport the shopfitting is one thing, but to communicate to all parties involved is the most important aspect of the operation. J H Retief Logistics’ senior operations staff and supervisors communicates with the manufacturers, store managers, project managers, shopfitters, drivers as well as Mall Managers, at all times during transportation.
For the past seven years we transported the different types/components of shopfitting needed for stores. By now, we know the complexity of all the items, especially the way to handle and load it into the truck space.
Very important – we strive to use the same section of our driver and crew corps to handle and transport shopfitting material. Our operational staff in both Cape Town and Gauteng, developed a fine touch for the transport of these goods.
